Terms of Use, Data Authorization, and Verification Consent
Mortgage Maven Finance LLC provides residential mortgage brokerage services and facilitates the collection and verification of financial and identity information necessary to evaluate mortgage loan applications.
Use of Services
By submitting a mortgage application or providing information through Mortgage Maven Finance LLC or its application platform, the borrower acknowledges that the information provided may be used to evaluate eligibility for residential mortgage financing and to comply with underwriting, regulatory, and investor requirements.
Authorization to Verify Information
As part of the mortgage application process, Mortgage Maven Finance LLC may verify information contained in a borrower’s loan application and supporting documentation. This may include verification of employment, income, financial accounts, account balances, credit history, tax returns, and identity information. Verification may occur prior to closing or as part of post-closing quality control reviews.
Consumer Report and Financial Data Authorization
By proceeding with the identity and financial account verification process, the borrower authorizes Mortgage Maven Finance LLC and its authorized service providers to obtain information necessary to verify identity and financial account details.
Mortgage Maven Finance LLC may obtain this information from financial institutions and other sources through secure third-party providers, including Plaid Inc., which may provide consumer report information as defined under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
The borrower authorizes Mortgage Maven Finance LLC to obtain consumer report information for the purposes of:
• verifying identity
• verifying financial accounts and balances
• reviewing transaction history
• confirming information provided in connection with a mortgage loan application
Third-Party Service Providers
Mortgage Maven Finance LLC may utilize secure third-party technology providers to facilitate
identity verification and financial account verification services. Lending partners, investors, and other parties involved in the mortgage transaction do not access Plaid systems directly. Mortgage Maven Finance LLC may include relevant verification results or information in the borrower’s loan file when submitting the loan for underwriting and approval.
Use of Information
Information obtained through identity verification and financial account verification services is used solely for evaluating mortgage eligibility, processing the loan application, underwriting the loan, and complying with regulatory, lender, and investor requirements.
Acceptance
By submitting a mortgage application or authorizing verification of financial accounts or identity, the borrower acknowledges and agrees that Mortgage Maven Finance LLC may obtain and use financial and identity information as described above in connection with the mortgage application process.
